One of the things Nate forgot back in Madison was his Ultimate Frisbee gear at the Forest Products Lab locker room. A fellow researcher of his was sweet enough to ship it down and included a little surprise for Nate. All of his former Ultimate buddies bought him a Frisbee and signed it. It made him so happy!
On the same line, we thought we'd try out a nearby disc golf course. It turned out to be far more difficult than we anticipated: narrow holes scattered with trees and creeks. Nate lost a couple of his favorite discs, but at least he found a new one while searching for his lost soldiers. It was a good time regardless.
