Home Kegging

Nate and I have brewed a couple of beers lately: A juniper ale (Inspired by Nate's favorite Belgian beer on our honeymoon) and most recently a lemon grass rye ale. (Nate can go into more detail about the recipes).

Instead of bottling, we wanted to take advantage of our kegerator and try to do some home kegging! We went the the home brew store here in Austin which is phenomenal and picked up all the hardware necessary. Here is Nate putting it all together.

We'd like to get a second home brew keg soon since it'll fit and hook them both up at the same time with a double spout. Now we just need to experiment more with forced carbonation vs. natural carbonation.

This is so much better than bottling!
