Nate will be starting classes (and eventually research) soon in the Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics Department at UT. We paid a visit to his building and he picked out a desk.
From there, we took a warm walk around campus: (It's much hotter than it looks!)

I can't wait to see the campus, looks beautiful! Not quite as nice as the UW though....
I thought everything was supposed to be bigger in Texas...what is up with your desk?
